Heat Pump Running But No Heat Outside Heat Pump Fan Continously Running. Is This Normal?

Outside heat pump fan continously running. Is this normal? - heat pump running but no heat

I have a split unit heat pump and noticed that the fan is always running out, but the real power is off and everything is normal, except fot the fan is still running. The thermostat is in the car and the heat up and down, but not shut off the fan when you shut down the entire system. Is this normal?

No, not normal. The contactors are not the problem. The problem is that the engine in the "phase", ie. running at 110 instead of 220 volts. The motor is defective.

The first is the right answer. This is not normal. The device is activated to close switch turns on and the power supply fans for the heat pump when the compressor is achieved, remained closed. You should call a technician to check and repair the problem.

You can short-circuit or maybe somewhere a motor circuit.
This should not be executed.
